"ILB" Centrifugal-Action Separators for low flow Irrigation and Commercial Applications:

Ideally suited for small system applications, side stream installations, and individual equipment protection.
Removes settle able sand, grit and other fine solid particles that settle in in process water systems. Removes 98% of such particles 200 mesh / 74 micron and larger. Heavier solids result in better results.
Centrifugal style filtration is effective and trouble free.
No filter screens or cartridges to clean or replace. No back flushing. No moving parts to wear out.
Easily automated for maintenance free operation.
Low and steady pressure loss ( 5 to 12 psi ), remains steady with pump flow.
Flow ranges of 3 to 290 gpm.
Maximum system pressure is 150 psi.
Purge size is 3/4" NPT male pipe thread.

Maintenance / Purging:

ILB Sand Separators must be purged regularly to remove separated solids from the temperary collection chamber.

All purge hardware should be installed prior to any elbow or turns in the purge piping.

Avoid uphill purging, which can clog the purge piping and hinder effective solids evacuation.

For best results, purging is recommended while separator is in operation, utilizing system pressure to enhance solids evacuation.

Durable, reliable, automatic purging systems are available to eliminate routine maintenance.

Frequency of purging and duration of purging are both programmable to accommodate the specific needs of virtually any application.

Be sure to include an isolation valve, prior to the automatic valve, to facilitate servicing of the automatic valve without system shut down.
