Pitless Well Caps and well seals for submersible pump systems

Pitless well caps make a seal over the outside of the well casing, and have an opening where your submersible pump wire can be routed to go into a bell box splice box. If you use a pitless adapter for discharging your pump water underground to your house, you will need a pitless well cap for your well top.

When ordering a pitless well cap, you need to measure the well casing pipe across the top to know the outside diameter of the pipe. This is because the pitless well cap goes down over the top of the well pipe to protect against contaminants from falling into the well.

The bolts around the edge of the pitless well cap can be removed to give full access to your well while not disturbing your submersible pump wiring.

Need to come out the top of your well? Dean Bennett Supply Company offers cast iron well seals that have a hole for your pipe to exit the well. These well seals fit inside the well casing pipe, so please measure the inside of the casing to buy the correct well seal. When the securing bolts are tightened up, they press the rubber seal out against the well casing pipe and also against the submersible well pump discharge pipe. This makes a water tight seal at the top of the well.
