PUMP SETTING PIPE
for submersible pumps
Dean Bennett Supply has everything for your pump system including the pipe. Call us with your questions about your pump system at 800-621-4291.
Depending on the depth of your well, there are several choices in pipe for setting a submersible pump on. Most do-it-yourself pump installers will use the following choices.
For a shallow well, that is less than 300' deep, many will choose coiled poly pipe. We offer 1" x 300' rolls of Pure Core 200 poly pipe which has a 200 psi pressure rating. Your cost is $ 345.00 per roll.
We also offer 1" x 100' rolls of Pure Core 200 which is great for shallower wells of less than 100' depth. Your cost is $ 115.00 per roll.
When
using poly coiled pipe, you need insert fittings to install into the poly pipe
to give you male iron pipe threads on the ends. We offer insert fittings in
brass that have a rope eye on them to accommodate the safety rope. The 1
1/4" male x 1" barbed insert fitting is $ 10.95@, and the
1" male x 1" barbed insert fitting is $ 9.40@.
The
insert male adapter with a rope eye is secured to the pipe with stainless steel
clamps.
We sell H16SS stainless steel clamps for use on 1" poly pipe for $ .81@
Deeper settings than 300' should use 1" x 20' Schedule 80 threaded drop pipe with brass couplings. 1" Schedule 80 drop pipe cost you $ 1.77 per foot in 20' lengths when bought with a qualified $ 1000.00 freight prepaid order.
Pipe Dope is used on threads of pipe to seal between the pipe and the coupling. We recommend the use of Loctite Pipe Dope. This pipe dope can be used on steel or PVC plastic pipe, and is approved for use on potable water lines. Your cost of 1/4 pint can with brush is $ 5.95
These prices are good only with a qualifying pump system that would already be delivered freight prepaid. We do not pay freight on pipe.
